Anilox Report - Before & After Laser Cleaning
Before Laser Cleaning
After Laser Cleaning
Cell Volume And Depth Had Dropped Significantly
The client's anilox roll had lost significant volume capacity and cell depth over time. Before cleaning, the measured volume had dropped to 2.78 cm³/m², and cell depth was only 10.8 µm against a 160 LCM, 10.6 cm³/m² specification - resulting in poor ink transfer and inconsistent coverage on the FFG924 press.
On-Site Laser Deep Cleaning
On 8 November 2025, our team performed a laser deep cleaning on site. This non-contact process was designed to safely remove embedded residue from the anilox cells without damaging the roll surface.
Measured Improvement After Cleaning
Sharper, More Consistent Print Results
The Cape Town client now benefits from sharper, more consistent print results and reduced long-term costs, thanks to the extended service life of the anilox roll following laser cleaning.
Results shown are specific to this roller and job. Actual results depend on roller condition, specification and contamination level - request an assessment for guidance on your own rollers.
